If I were …
A point of view?
It would be the view on the pond of Fontaine Daniel which gives onto the old mill and the chapel. It would be the dawn, the morning mist on the pond when the village is still silent.
A local speciality?
Pork rillettes from the Ambrières-les-Vallées butcher’s shop. Delicious on toast!
A local animal?
The peacock that wakes me up every morning. I named him Bernard because he walks like a priest from a 19th century English novel.
An activity?
Visit the Bois-Salair Monastery in Fontaine-Daniel.
A season?
Autumn with the winter walks through the woods and the roasted chestnuts cooked outside

The restaurant La Carotte in Mayenne. Great welcome, very healthy meals and good music in the evening.

The cheese from the Vaubernier cheese dairy in Martigné sur Mayenne.
