Passionate about materials and colours, Géraldine works wool with soapy water or felt needles to make small decorative objects or fashion accessories.

She welcomes you in her workshop at the Forum Métiers d’Art de Jublains or during discovery and improvement workshops to share her passion and know-how.

If I were …

A point of view?

I would be the lake of Haute Mayenne… every morning, very early, in all seasons and on various spots!

A local speciality?

There, my heart is pounding hard… I allow myself two: the tome de Brebis d’ Émeline and Stanislas at Chantrigné and the smoked sausage of Jublains.

A local animal?

I would be the owl because it is there, present but because we hear it more than we see it!

An activity?

Felting… of course!

A season?

I would be Autumn for these colours, the sound of our footsteps on the leaves, for these cool, luminous mornings. For the promise after rest, of a green and colourful awakening.

My favourite?

Pontmain, for the light through the stained glass windows of the Basilica and the stained glass windows of Gabriel Loire in La Chapelle des Oblats, the hiking trails, the remarkable trees… and of course the exhibitions at the Centre d’Art Contemporain.

My favourite place?

My workshop at the Forum Métiers d’Art in Jublains. For the exercise of my passion, for the meetings, the training courses, the exchanges with the curious and the other craftsmen of Arts.

My must-have?

To the rhythm of exhibitions, La Chapelle des Calvairiennes
