Get a taste for fishing
Fishing is a hobby for everyone! However, it is not necessarily easy to get started access if you do not have the basic equipment and knowledge.
These courses are intended for all those who wish to learn more about angling. Over a half-day or a full-day, Eric will guide you in your first steps as a carp angler, showing you how to set up a line, prepare groundbait and catch carp without harming them.
After weighing and taking a few snaps, you help put them back into the water so that they can swim on their way.
For individuals, but also for schools, companies and clubs – all are welcome to these initiation days, which are also open to all ages.
The Carp Lake at Origné
In 2011, the Mayenne Federation for Fishing and the Protection of the Aquatic Environment decided to open a carp lake in the town of Origné, with a surface area of around 8,000 m² exclusively dedicated to carp fishing.
A wild natural environment where you can learn the feeder method, a dynamic fishing technique that will allow you to catch some really nice specimens.
