Meet Elisabeth

Elisabeth welcomes young and old alike to her educational smallholding, where you can discover the plants and animals that make up the daily life of a small farm in the Mayenne countryside. As a qualified tourist guide, she is also exceptionally good at making visitors feel welcome and entertained!

Create a leather accessory yourself…

With your family or in a group of friends, let Elisabeth introduce you to the different stages of leather work.  Learn about the origins of the raw material, how it is prepared, how to cut and decorate it and how to make a keepsake of your visit.

A keyring, purse or perhaps a belt, by the end of the workshop you’ll have something that you have actually made yourself!

La Papinière farm

Rabbits, goats, donkeys, alpacas, peacocks and many other animals inhabit this little paradise, a few kilometres from Mayenne.

You might try a saddlery workshop, a sleigh ride, a jam workshop or a full day on the farm, – here you’ll discover the range of activities of the farm and more about the domesticated and wild species of the region.
