Traces the centre line
Using a center point, mark the center of the part
Adjust the rotation speed of the lathe between 1500 and 2000 rpm
Turn the part using the roughing gouge
Secure the workpiece in the chuck
Hollow out the part using the profiling gouge
Check the calibration using a template
Profiling using the roughing gouge and chisel
Sand the part using the different sanding papers in order, starting with the coarsest grain
Increase the rotation speed of the lathe from 2000 to 3000 rpm
Apply the wax
Help the wax penetrate using a cork
Shine with a woollen cloth
Cut the egg cup with the chisel
